There are many ways to attach fence mesh to posts: some individuals use trees as line posts; while others choose to use cedar posts. Angle steel line posts can be considered if the deer fence system will be in wooded areas where aesthetics may not be as important.

Angle steel line posts do not use ground sleeves like traditional HD deer fence line posts. Angle steel line posts are made from a 12 gauge steel that is powder-coated black to match the color of the fence mesh and accessories. The angled steel posts include pre-drilled holes that help install fence mesh using self-locking ties. 

They are available in different heights and packages to accommodate the needs of each unique landscape. For best results, space angled posts every 10-15 feet apart.
