The driver cap is actually an important fence tool that is recommended for beginning fence installation. This tool helps installers safely, and effectively, pound the ground sleeve into the ground so that the post can easily slide into the ground sleeve. 

Driver caps are available for 1 3/8" and 1 5/8" posts. It is recommended that you use a new driver cap every 21 line posts as the cap will start to lose its' shape.

The tool not only makes fence installation easy; but the tool itself is inexpensive.
