Installing ground sleeves and fence posts are the first steps in the fence installation process; and if the ground is rocky or hard, it may make the install job difficult to develop. Don't fret, there is a fence tool that can help easily drive in ground sleeves into the ground. It's called an earth auger.

There are two types of earth augers that can be used depending on the diameter fence post being installed. For 1 3/8" fence posts, use a 24"L x 1.5"W earth auger; but for 1 5/8" line posts, use a 30"L x 1 3/4"W earth auger.
