Using this fence tightener tool, two loose ends of monofilament wire can be secured after being threaded through a Gripple. It uses a ratchet action to pull the monofilament line through the Gripples, which tightens the monofilament line. Tension up to 880lb. wire load with minimal effort due to the unique design. We recommend setting to 450lbs. Compatible with 8 gauge and 12 gauge Gripples.
