Fence stakes are one of the most important accessories to buy for both deer fence and pet fence on landscapes. 

Without fence stakes, gardeners risk plant damage from white-tailed deer and other nosy garden critters that try to sneak into growing sites from the bottom of the fence line. Pet owners risk their domestic dogs and cats sneaking out and further decrease security of their pets from wildlife encounters.

Fence stakes should be added to the bottom of landscape fences - one every five feet. The type of ground stake to use will depend on the homeowner's soil: If it's smooth, choose kinked ground stakes; and if it's rocky, consider rebar ground stakes.
